Winnipeg Minor Lacrosse

Red River Lacrosse Association

The Red River Lacrosse Association is managed by an Executive Board comprised of President, Vice-President, Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Referee-in-Chief, one representative per zone and two Directors @ Large.

The Zone Associations are as follows:

  • Zone 1 East - Gryphons
  • Zone 2 North - Falcons
  • Zone 3 West - Shamrocks
  • Zone 4 South - Sidewinders
  • Zone 5 - Tri S
  • Zone 6 - Sagkeeng

The mission of the RRLA is to provide an opportunity, regardless of ability, to experience the tradition and passion of lacrosse, which develops and encourages players through sportsmanship, competition and camaraderie.

The RRLA is committed to creating an environment where our volunteers are encouraged to participate in the promotion and growth of Canada’s National Summer Sport.

The objectives of the Association are:

  • to encourage and foster Box Lacrosse in the Association;
  • by agreement with the MLA, to operate Box Lacrosse in the Association, and to decide and adjust any and all matters that may be in dispute; and
  • to establish leagues for teams in the various age groups within its jurisdiction.
